Galatians: Why God Accepts Us |
 |
The PCC adult Bible class recently studied Galatians: Why God Accepts Us, written by Jack Kuhatschek.
Paul speaks to us today on the good news of the Gospel, and how some try to twist it, and make it into something that is not good news at all. Is our salvation accomplished
by God's grace, or by our own good works? These eleven studies delve into the problem that the early church in Galatia had, and how we must combat the forces that still try to pervert the truth today.
This eleven week study, based on the book of Galatians, was led by Loren Bair.

Heaven: What a Wonderful Place |
 |
The PCC adult Bible class has studied Heaven: What a Wonderful Place, written by Kenny Boles. In this study guide on heaven, Kenny Boles goes a few steps further than what is typically discussed by using hints from Scriptures and a bit of "sanctified imagination".
Have you ever wondered how our bodies might be changed in the twinkling of an eye?
There are a host of questions which are spawned from this one question about heavenly bodies.
Will they have substance or be spirit? Will we experience life in heaven with our five senses?
Will we want to meet ancestors who grafted a Christian heritage into our earthly family tree?
Heaven: What a Wonderful Place is available from College Press. |

New International Version of the Holy Scriptures |
 |
Of course the Bible is the ultimate word of
authority for the Christian. I suggest that you choose a translation
that you can easily understand. We are currently using the NIV for our
pew Bible, and Brother Joe regularly preaches from this version.
If you do not have a Bible, let any PCC member know, and we will give
you a copy for your own. Children's Bibles are also available.
